General Notice

The OFF-GRID Experts Workshop is an event organized by Augsburger Schwabenhallen Messe- und Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH – district court Augsburg, commercial register B number 9522, VAT ID number: DE-127472549 – (organizer, hereinafter ‘Messe Augsburg’).

Conclusion of contract

The contractual commitment with regard to the purchase of the tickets shall come into effect exclusively between the organizer (Messe Augsburg) and the participant.

The organizer will issue an offer for the conclusion of a purchase contract by uploading the ticket offer, indicating the number of available tickets, the ticket price and the available payment methods. The participant accepts this offer for the conclusion of a purchase contract by clicking on the appropriate button in the respective order form. The accep-tance of the offer becoming legally effective presupposes, that the participant has completed all required fields in the order form.

Information about cancellation for consumers

The sale of tickets is a service in connection with leisure activities at a fixed appointment. According to sec. 312g par. 2 s. 1 no. 9 German civil code such treaties do not give a right to cancellation.

Changes to services

Messe Augsburg reserves the right to modify the services to be performed at OFF-GRID Experts Workshop (thus e. g. particular subjects of lectures, speakers, time schedule, etc.) also after conclusion of the contract, except this is unrea-sonable for the participant.

Prices, payment

All prices are to be understood excluding the statutory VAT and other price components.

The participant can settle invoices using the payment methods offered by Messe Augsburg. If Messe Augsburg is unable to collect fees from an account designated by the participant due to lack of funds, the participant shall bear all costs incurred by Messe Augsburg as a result thereof, especially bank charges connected to the return of debit entries and comparable charges, to the extent in which the participant is responsible for the event that triggered these costs.

Messe Augsburg is entitled to send invoices and payment reminders exclusively by electronic means.

Provided the participant does not object, Messe Augsburg reserves the right to switch the invoicing from euros to the participant’s respective domestic currency at any time.

Jurisdiction – Place of Fulfilment – Applicable Law

If the participant is a business person (as defined by § 1 HGB (German Trade Law)), the place of jurisdiction shall be our place of business; we are however also entitled to institute proceedings against the participant at the court his principal place of business.

The place of fulfilment shall be the event venue on the premises of Messe Augsburg.

The contractual relationships are regulated exclusively by national law as applicable inside the Federal Republic of Germany with the exclusion of UN purchasing law (CISG).
